Natural shortcut: Nereye? often appears alone when the context is clear: “Nereye?” — “Eve.”

Word order: hangi and kaç usually come directly before a noun: hangi gün, kaç kişi, kaç euro.

Natural Question Order

Place the question word where the missing information belongs

Do not add mı/mi: Hangi filmi izliyorsun? is correct. ~~Hangi filmi izliyor musun?~~ is not a normal information question.

Read first, then answer with complete information

Anna cumartesi sabahı saat dokuzda uyanıyor. Bugün neden erken kalkıyor? Çünkü saat onda Türkçe dersi var. Dersi evde yapıyor. Öğretmeni Selinay, Anna’ya “Hafta sonu ne yapıyorsun?” diye soruyor.

Dersten sonra Anna arkadaşı Deniz’le buluşuyor. Nerede buluşuyorlar? Bolhão metrosunun önünde. Önce pazara gidiyorlar. Anna iki elma, ekmek ve peynir alıyor. Peynir ne kadar? Altı euro.
